Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important. This page explains how contact form entries, optional file uploads, and any stored information are handled securely by Presentation Help.
Information we collect
When you submit the contact form, we may collect your name, email address, your selected service type, your project description, and any file you choose to upload.
How we use your data
We use submitted information only to understand your project requirements and to provide the presentation service you've requested. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties without your consent.
File uploads
If you upload a presentation file or other attachment, it is used only to review and work on your project. Uploaded files are retained only as long as necessary to complete the work and are then deleted unless you agree otherwise. We recommend keeping a backup of any original files before uploading.
GDPR — Your Rights
Presentation Help is committed to complying with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and, where applicable, the EU GDPR. If you are located in the United Kingdom, European Union, or European Economic Area, the following rights apply to you.
Lawful basis for processing
We process your personal data on the basis of legitimate interests — specifically to respond to your enquiry and provide the service you have requested — and on the basis of your consent, given via the checkbox on the contact form. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Your individual rights
- Right of access — You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you at any time (also known as a Subject Access Request).
- Right to rectification — If any information we hold is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to ask us to correct it.
- Right to erasure — You may ask us to delete your personal data where there is no compelling reason for us to continue processing it. This is sometimes called the "right to be forgotten".
- Right to restrict processing — You may request that we limit how we use your data in certain circumstances, for example while a complaint is being investigated.
- Right to data portability — Where processing is based on your consent, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Right to object — You may object at any time to processing of your personal data where we rely on legitimate interests as our lawful basis.
- Rights related to automated decision-making — We do not use automated decision-making or profiling. No decisions with legal or significant effect are made about you by automated means.
How to exercise your rights
To exercise any of the rights above, please contact us via the contact form on the homepage. We will respond within 30 days in line with GDPR requirements. We may need to verify your identity before processing a request.
Right to lodge a complaint
If you believe your data has been handled incorrectly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority:
- UK residents: Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) — ico.org.uk
- EU/EEA residents: Your national data protection authority — a full list is available at edpb.europa.eu
We would always prefer the opportunity to address your concern directly before you contact a regulator, so please reach out to us first.
International transfers
Your data is processed and stored within the United Kingdom. We do not transfer personal data outside the UK or EEA as part of our standard service delivery.
Data retention
We retain form submissions and uploaded files only for the time needed to respond to your request and to keep a record of the work completed — typically no longer than 12 months after project completion. If you ask us to remove your data at any point, we will delete it promptly and confirm when this has been done.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, and misuse.
Cookies
This site does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. The only external resource loaded is the Google Fonts stylesheet for typography.
